- ➤ Minot Public Library celebrated National Library Week April 20-24 with staff dressing in new themes and hiding 3D prints of their mascot; library director Josh Pikka received a Leadership Award on April 16 for his growth in relationship skills (earned during an eight-week Dale Carnegie course). - ➤ The Rinat Mouzafarov Institute of Dance and Ballet Theatre will present The Messiah, a ballet featuring 70 dancers (ages 3 to early 20s) and challenging choreography, on Saturday, May 9 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 10 at 2 p.m. at Ann Nicole Nelson on the MSU campus. Minot Daily News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Area students were among twenty individuals who received $1,000 scholarships from the North Dakota Farm Bureau Promotion and Education Committee. Laykin Feller of Velva and Lily Solemsaas of Sherwood were recognized for their academic and agricultural achievements through funds raised at the annual live auction held in November.
