Minot Public Library celebrated National Library Week April 20-24 with staff dressing in new themes and hiding 3D prints of their mascot; library director Josh Pikka received a Leadership Award on April 16 for his growth in relationship skills (earned during an eight-week Dale Carnegie course).

The Rinat Mouzafarov Institute of Dance and Ballet Theatre will present The Messiah, a ballet featuring 70 dancers (ages 3 to early 20s) and challenging choreography, on Saturday, May 9 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 10 at 2 p.m. at Ann Nicole Nelson on the MSU campus.

Area students were among twenty individuals who received $1,000 scholarships from the North Dakota Farm Bureau Promotion and Education Committee.
