Six cadets (ages 12-18) from the Minot Civil Air Patrol competed at a state contest in Fargo and placed second, earning a spot to represent North Dakota at the North Central Region competition in Kansas in May.

Minot State University’s Criminal Justice Club will host a free speaker event with HSI—agent John Armstrong at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.

After weeks of intensive training across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, four U.S. Air Force B-52H bombers and crews returned to Minot Air Force Base on Monday from a Bomber Task Force 25-2 deployment—operating from RAF Fairford—after completing 13 operational missions with international allies.
Bishop Ryan survived its tough fifth matchup and secured a spot in the Division B state tournament with a *61-56* win after four overtimes against Our Redeemer's.
The team will now compete in the NDHSAA boys basketball tournament.
