- ➤ The remains of WWII veteran Irvin C. Ellingson, who went missing in April 1945, will be returned to his hometown in Dahlen after the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency made his final identification this summer. KFYR-TV
- ➤ Families joined the North Pole Stroll on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Minot Air Force Base — a 91st Missile Wing event that featured airmen from the 54th Helicopter Squadron and a decorated Defender Dome for arts, crafts, food, and games. Minot Daily News

- ➤ Basin Electric Power Cooperative and NextEra Energy Resources signed an MOU to explore a combined-cycle natural gas facility that will support a planned multi-gigawatt data center campus. - ➤ During a winter storm that left about 4,500 homes without power, local residents are advised to follow USDA guidelines to keep perishable food safe; a full freezer stays cold for 48 hours while a closed refrigerator keeps food safe for up to four hours. Minot Daily News
