For the first time in 100 years, the Minot Symphony Orchestra is hosting two Holiday Magic concerts on Dec.
12 and Dec. 13 at Ann Nicole Nelson hall, where hundreds of performers including high school talent and the Western Plains Children’s Choir, plus soloists Megan Kramer & John Swedberg, will bring the event to life.
Minot Sertoma Club is celebrating 30 years of Christmas in the Park today in Oak Park with new light displays to welcome community visitors.

A couple of years ago, local nonprofit Heaven's Helpers installed solar panels at its Minot facility to lower electricity costs and boost energy efficiency (showing its commitment to sustainability).
