The Minot Daily News is asking local residents to share their Christmas stories and high resolution photos of family traditions or holiday decorations for a chance to be featured in the Wednesday, Dec.
24 edition — submissions must include name, town, and daytime phone number and are due by Friday, Dec. 19.
SRT officials visited the upgraded Glenburn Panther Playground and presented a $5,000 ceremonial check to the Booster Club as part of a nearly $100,000 project to replace 35-year-old equipment at the school — 57 community donors and local sponsors helped complete the project.
The donation effort aimed to provide students a safe play area and support long-term use of the basketball courts.
The Minot Park District will open its Fun Zone today for kids 10 and under to enjoy bounce houses, toys and more.
The facility will run every Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon until late March — it will pause from Dec. 23 to Jan. 5.
