- ➤ Minot City Council approved its 2026 budget on Monday night after lengthy discussions on property taxes, infrastructure improvements, and economic development—Paul Pitner voted no on a final vote of 6 to 1. The budget includes changes for enterprise vehicle replacement, a new salary for a heavy equipment operator, and funds for façade improvements and general fund reserves. KFYR-TV
