Today the North Dakota Game and Fish Department released the 2025 PLOTS guide to let hunters use about 880,000 acres of private land this fall, an increase of roughly 40,000 acres from last year.
Kevin Kading said the guide is available as a physical copy at licensing vendors and on smartphones to show land boundaries and help reach a goal of 1 million acres by 2028—hunters must treat these lands with care.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will host Out of the Darkness walks in September to raise money and boost awareness during Suicide Awareness Month in North Dakota.
The organization said suicide is the 9th leading cause of death in the state and the second for young people—affecting many in our community.
