Dozens of Airstream campers began arriving at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds on Wednesday as Minot prepares for its first national rally.

Local tourism leaders expect around 2,000 visitors, with the event starting Saturday evening and a vintage exhibit set for Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. (Minot).

The Mouse River Players Community Theatre is set to present the Tony award winning musical 'Come From Away' to honor Sept.

11 and show community spirit – the production runs Sept. 11–12, 13, 17–19, and 20 at 7:30 p.m. or 2 p.m. at the theater on 1st St SE.

Shannon Ostrum is the new Dean of Students at Minot High and she will focus on students’ behavioral health + transportation issues to improve support.

The school looks forward to enhanced student care under her leadership.

Minot schools are using Infinite Campus to manage grades and attendance as teachers say the new system is more user-friendly despite challenges with data transfer; staff plan to expand its use for fee payments and communication as the school year unfolds.

Ray-Powers Lake football is in its fifth 11-man season, building on playoff success with more than 50 players now compared to about 30 when the co-op began + they will host Northern Cass on Saturday.

Linton-HMB’s Lions are ranked No. 3 in state for 9-man football – they received two first-place votes in the media poll – after a perfect 9–0 regular season and playoff win last year.

They will open their season Saturday against Hettinger-Scranton with sophomore quarterback Justin Bosch at the helm.
