Fjord Folk Fest releases its two-day schedule for the inaugural Scandinavian festival in Minot, running Aug.

At Minot Air Force Base, the 5th Communications Squadron’s CFP directs tasks to various IT work centers — ensuring rapid ticket routing and secure connectivity for Team Minot.
The unit also handles administrative programs and tasking orders from higher headquarters to keep base operations running smoothly.
A crew installed protective sheeting on the Third Street Bridge on Monday, Aug.10 to prep for Montana-Dakota Utilities gas line maintenance beneath the sidewalk + the city scheduled bridge rehabilitation for 2027 to fix needed repairs.

Minot Swim Club celebrates *60 years* of water training as it honors decades of building young swimmers with head coach McKenna Brown leading 150 members at the new Olympic-size pool at Minot North High School.
