Volunteer firefighters from New Salem fought three grass fires over the past days; one ignited Saturday near Sweet Briar Lake, one struck Monday in town, and another stretched 1.5 miles in Oliver County, with help from neighboring crews + residents.

Airmen experienced the new MindGym at the McAdoo Fitness Center on Monday to boost focus and manage stress at Minot Air Force Base.

Minot City Pound is moving services next month to a Trinity Health warehouse along 4th Avenue Southeast (the one-year lease starts Sept.
