The North Dakota Highway Patrol identified Duane Biewer, 73, as the victim of a crash on U.S. Highway 83 south of Minot on Aug.

On Aug. 2, a 21-year-old Minot man died in a crash on the U.S. Highway 83 West Bypass when his speeding 2021 Tesla Model Y left the roadway near the Fourth Avenue Northwest overpass — the North Dakota Highway Patrol said the driver, who was wearing a seat belt, sustained fatal injuries and the crash remains under investigation.

Federal funding cuts to disability advocacy services in North Dakota will limit programs including voting and employment assistance — the changes take effect Oct.
