- ➤ During the July meeting, the Plum Valley League of Women Voters held a food drive that collected nonperishable items and delivered them along with a $255 donation to The Lord’s Cupboard—efforts aimed to support local residents in need. Minot Daily News
- ➤ Roosevelt Park Zoo’s four Amur tiger cubs born May 19 have been given names by members of the 69th Bomb Squadron and Booster Club at Minot Air Force Base, with Captains Avery Wilson, Daniel Hunt and Jimmy Weaver unveiling banners at the zoo’s celebration (International Tiger Day on July 29). Donations helped pick the names (Buffy and Afkai for the females and Brogan and Koshmar for the males) to honor a B-52 and local heroes while supporting conservation efforts. Minot Daily News

- ➤ Darian Doe Robinson, 54, pleaded guilty to delivering cocaine at North Central District Court on July 25 and was sentenced to three years in state prison—two identical counts were dismissed as part of his plea agreement. Minot Daily News
