- ➤ Citizens Alley is a new community plaza in downtown Minot owned by the Aksal Group and run by Local Motives that hosts events like concerts, markets, a winter ice rink, and more. The space, located near Central Avenue and 1st Street SE beside the old Soo Line FreightHouse, held its first Arts in the City event and will soon host activities such as Wednesday night yoga and visits by the Yodabest Food Truck—bringing fresh energy to the area. - ➤ At a Virtual Special School Board meeting on July 2nd, the School Board approved the name Minot United and a new co-op logo featuring a Half Magi/Half Sentinel image for sports and activities—this decision represents a move to include both Minot High and Minot North High students. The co-op teams will not have a separate mascot name and will use a mix of school colors with no new uniforms issued, though a patch is under consideration—Superintendent Dr. Scott Faul said the logo is designed to be more inclusive.
