In Burlington, the Ward County Historical Society’s Pioneer Village hosted a 250th anniversary celebration this past weekend with local groups Northern Bottling Co, Minot Lions Club and Thomas Family Funeral Home marking major milestones.
The Society will hold its Car and Tractor Show on Aug. 1-2 (a community tradition).

Minot will host the 61st ND State Fair from Friday, July 17 through Saturday, July 25.
The fair celebrates America’s 250th birthday with new food vendors (including Rick’s Pizza and Polar Bear Ice Cream), contests, rides, and live entertainment throughout its nine-day run.
