ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Burke County Sheriff’s patrol car hit a bicyclist near Bowbells on Friday afternoon on Highway 8 near mile marker 193 — leaving him seriously injured and taken to Trinity Health in Minot as the North Dakota Highway Patrol investigates the crash. KFYR-TV
- ➤ A 51-year-old Minot man died in a car crash Saturday at around 2 a.m. on U.S. Highway 2 in Ward County when his car went into a ditch while rounding a curve + the North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. KFYR-TV
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Minot will host the Airstream Club International’s 69th rally next August at the North Dakota State Fair Center — the first time the event is held locally in 20 years. The rally will feature seminars, live music, art exhibits, and shopping — and is expected to generate more than $2.5 million in economic impact. KFYR-TV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Minot High School students returned from a European trip from June 12th—14th when 21 students and seven chaperones visited cities like Paris, Barcelona, Monaco, Rome, and Florence—experiencing art and history firsthand. Art teacher Mike Stein said the annual program gives students a chance to see art in real settings and noted that planning for the 2027 trip will begin this October. Minot Daily News

- ➤ Lawmakers discussed new safety measures after a Minnesota lawmaker was killed earlier this month.
