The Roughrider RV Resort in Minot started as a saloon for harvesters and evolved into a well-liked campground for both short- and long-term travelers.

The property — owned by Daniel Williamson since 2012 — now features upgraded RV spots, tent sites, improved lighting, and a modern laundry facility.

A new tunnel is under construction behind the zoo Visitor Center in Roosevelt Park so the Magic City Express train can pass through.

The structure — part of the Phase MI-7 project — will include a pedestrian path and is set to be completed this fall with the train running in summer 2028.
