A 23-year-old Minot man died Saturday at 11:25 a.m. when he lost control of his 2015 Honda motorcycle without wearing a helmet on 21st Avenue Southeast westbound toward Sixth Street Southeast—North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

The Civil Service Commission will hold a public hearing Wednesday at 10 a.m. in City Hall to review a proposed 2026 City pay plan that would increase payroll costs by about 3.2% while streamlining 62 pay grades into 27 with step-based progressions—this plan also adds new positions and adjusts pay for a digital forensic analyst, with cost estimates of $844,300.
