Faith Anne Almond, 28 from Plaza, pleaded guilty to carrying fentanyl to sell along with two drug-related charges after a Feb.

9 traffic stop found fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug tools, and North Central District Court sentenced her to serve 18 months with corrections—crediting 125 days served—and ordered three years of probation, a chemical dependency test, and $1,250 in fines.

Minot man Todd Behm, 54, pleaded guilty to the financial exploitation of an eligible adult and was sentenced before Judge Douglas Mattson on Thursday to a 10-year sentence with 30 days to be served—he also will face three years of probation and restrictions on using the victim’s finances.

A Minot man named Eric Jason Faul, 48, pleaded guilty to possessing meth with intent to distribute and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia in North Central District Court and was sentenced to serve 3 years in corrections—his sentence also includes 360 days for a misdemeanor, supervised probation, and $900 in fines.

Four candidates—Mark Jantzer, Paul Pitner, Rob Fuller and Josiah Roise—qualified for the Aug.

Judge Douglas Mattson retired after 23 years on the bench in a special ceremony held on Monday in Minot.
