- ➤ The North Dakota Sheriffs and Deputies Association said Homeland Security mischaracterized Billings, Golden Valley, Grant, Morton, Ramsey, Sioux and Slope counties as sanctuary jurisdictions, and they worked with federal partners to enforce immigration laws — the agency did not provide clear criteria for its designation.
