On Saturday, May 30, NoAH volunteers beautified the Amtrak depot with plantings including geraniums, begonias and hostas, continuing a 40-year tradition to welcome train arrivals.

Noah Turner, a former airman from Minot AFB, received a refurbished 2015 Chevrolet Impala on Saturday, May 30 during the “Cruisin’ for a Cause” car show hosted by ABRA Auto Body — area contributors and a national recycling program helped him drive home to North Carolina and reunite with his family.
Nearly 30 volunteers, including 15 missileers, planted a garden near Simcoe for The Lord’s Cupboard food pantry and The Welcome Table soup kitchen last Wednesday (May 27) to provide fresh produce for summer and fall.
Volunteers care for the garden on Tuesdays (and Thursdays) to pull weeds and adjust irrigation.
