- ➤ A Minot man, Justyn M. Smith, faced four terrorizing charges after restaurant employees said he dry-fired a green BB gun resembling a firearm at a southwest restaurant, forcing staff to evacuate to the parking lot—he made his initial court appearance on Thursday and is set to return on July 3. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services confirmed four measles cases in Grand Forks County and one in Burke County, raising the statewide total to 28. The department said an affected person in Burke County had traveled to Williams County and exposed people at sites in Crosby—Lindsey's Grocery Store and Dollar General, advising those exposed to monitor for symptoms for 21 days. - ➤ Forecasters say heavy smoke from wildfires in Canada is headed our way and the ND Department of Environmental Quality urged residents to keep windows closed, limit outdoor activity, and recirculate indoor air—especially if they see or smell smoke. KFYR-TV

- ➤ The Industrial Commission approved new eligibility limits for home buying assistance programs that help first-time buyers with lower interest rates, down payments, and closing costs.
