- ➤ Painting has begun on the Union Silos Public Art Project at 318 1st St. NE in downtown Minot to create North Dakota’s largest public mural. Local residents hired Australian artist Guido van Helten to design a four-sided community portrait on the retired grain silos and work will continue until fall—2025. Minot Daily News

- ➤ Minot North High School held its first graduation ceremony on Sunday at the Minot State University Dome as the Class of 2025 received diplomas and celebrated a new chapter in a school that opened in fall 2024 — family, teachers, and local leaders cheered the historic event. Northern Sentry
- ➤ Chilaka Ugobi, a 7th grader from Our Redeemer’s Christian School in Minot, advanced to the fourth round of the Scripps National Spelling Bee—after passing the written portion Tuesday—joining the top 100 of over 240 competitors. KFYR-TV

- ➤ Lt Col Dan Langan, Deputy Commander of the 5th Maintenance Group at Minot AFB, delivered the annual Memorial Day address at Rosehill Cemetery where volunteers placed flags on over 1,300 graves to honor fallen veterans — he urged the Minot community to renew its commitment to preserving the sacrifices made for our freedom.
