Yesterday, the North Dakota State Fair launched a smartphone app—available on Apple and Android—that lets fairgoers check food menus, entertainment details and buy tickets for the fair scheduled July 17-25 in Minot.
North Dakota's airports set a new record in April with 105,393 boardings due to extra seats and flights, even though Minot had 11,804 passengers—a 15% drop caused by Allegiant's flight cuts.
More capacity cuts could start in June if airlines reduce flights further.
The Bottineau Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual Scholastic Award Program to recognize 11 Dakota College at Bottineau students meeting high academic and extracurricular standards as they work toward spring graduation — Minot’s Piper Stein was among the honorees.
Minot native Josh Duhamel and wife Audra Mari welcomed their baby girl Rocca de Leon Duhamel on May 17.
They already have a two-year-old son named Shepherd, and Duhamel is also father to a 12-year-old son from a previous marriage.
