Minot High junior Chinagozi Ugobi set a personal best of 35 ft, 10 in during her triple jump at the Minot Invite on May 8 at Duane Carlson Stadium.
She qualifies for state and will compete at the WDA Meet on May 16 + the state meet starting May 21.
Minot North lost twice to Bismarck High on May 12 after an early game lead, and the Demons secured the third seed while the Sentinels must host a play-in game against Watford City to reach the WDA Tournament.
