ABRA Auto Body Repair Minot will host Cruisin’ for a Cause, a car show benefiting Easterseals Goodwill of ND, on Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 629 20th Ave. SE.
Visitors can register vehicles, enjoy food trucks and family-friendly activities — donations support local Easterseals programs.
Minot State University and its Exercise Science and Rehabilitation program were awarded a $5,000 NDAD Gibbens Memorial Grant for an adaptive equipment project; the specialized items arrived at the Wellness Center in January to support inclusive fitness and hands-on kinesiology training.
Bird watchers in Minot recalled that spring World Migratory Bird Day was celebrated on May 9 across the USA & Canada using Merlin Bird ID & iNaturalist.
Another observance is planned for Oct. 10 in Mexico, Central and South America under the theme 'Every Bird Counts: Your Observations Matter!'
