Members from the Thunderbutte Drum group from Parshall sang during the grand entry at the 35th Annual Spring Honor Dance and Celebration at the Minot State University Dome on Saturday, April 26—dancers of all ages gathered to open the powwow.

The Minot State University Geology Club will host a bring-your-rock-to-school day on Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Cyril Moore Hall, Room 111, where geology alumni and the public can have their rocks examined by experts+ a drone flight demonstration and a small selection of polished rocks for sale add to the event, which is sponsored by the AUGITE Club.

Today, law enforcement in Minot has improved crime fighting with new technology as updated body cameras record live video and in-car devices capture GPS data during calls—Minot Police and the Ward County Sheriff’s Office plan to add license plate readers while balancing safety with privacy concerns.
