- ➤ Three long-time workers—Mike Aschenbrenner, Susan VanSickle and JoAnn Strobel—at Schatz Crossroads Truck Stop in Minot have combined 125 years of service and strong work ethic, helping the business grow over many decades. Minot Daily News

- ➤ High schoolers in Minot are hosting a student-led preschool camp at the Minot Area Workforce Academy that meets weekly for 90 minutes until May 15. The camp offers real teaching experience while partnering with Head Start Center to address the local childcare shortage. KFYR-TV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ West Oaks Animal Hospital in Minot will close on June 26 as doctors retire after 21 years of service. The clinic is trying to sell the practice while scheduling appointments through June 25 and advising pet owners to save their pets' records for future care. KFYR-TV
- ➤ The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services reported a drop in respiratory illnesses as it recorded 295 influenza, 115 RSV and 38 COVID-19 cases for the week ending April 18 in the state. Minot Daily News
