- ➤ The Ward County Sheriff’s Department seeks help in finding Tela Nelson—19, with brown hair and brown eyes, who stands 5’8” and weighs 150 pounds—from Minot; she was last seen on Friday at 1 p.m. leaving her southwest mobile home park dressed in a red shirt, black tank top with flowers, black leggings, white flip-flops and a navy-blue beanie—reports note she carried a small pink backpack with a floral print and a black purse with a chain—and anyone with information should call 857-6500. - ➤ Minot’s economic development committee recently voted to continue the Renaissance Zone program and urged the board to shift benefits to areas that need improvements—aiming to balance the city’s budget while encouraging quality community investments.
