ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A structure fire on Friday night at 618 14th Street NW in Minot displaced a family and killed four animals as firefighters rescued three cats while efforts to save three dogs and one cat failed, with no injuries reported. KFYR-TV
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Minot poets and wordsmiths may submit original anthem poems by midnight Monday, April 21 to honor the community’s strength and unity. Judges will review entries and announce the winner at the City Council meeting on May 19; the winning anthem will be premiered with area choirs in March 2026, with prizes including a $500 cash award and season tickets for the Minot Symphony while second and third place receive a six-ticket flex pass.
