- ➤ The Little Miss Pageant will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Taube Museum of Art in Minot, where contestants work with experienced pageant women in talent, character and personality competitions with an optional 'Barbie' outfit category — the contest emphasizes individuality and character over material values as noted by director Alissa Myers. - ➤ More than 100 youth gathered in Minot this past weekend at West Minot Church of God for the For The One Youth Conference organized by Pulse Evangelism to learn ways to share their faith in schools and neighborhoods. - ➤ Minot Quilt Guild will host the annual Minot Prairie Quilt Festival on Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Dakota State Fair Center. The 30th festival will display hundreds of quilts in judged categories along with workshops and vendors, with featured quilter Leone Nera sharing her quilting journey—she started quilting for her grandson and now donates quilts to children through her ministry.
