- ➤ KMOT has partnered with the Minot Area Homeless Coalition for nearly 15 years to run the Have a Heart Food Drive. Volunteers picked up Monday afternoon donations at KMOT’s station — the items will soon be delivered to the local Salvation Army to help those in need. KFYR-TV
- ➤ SVUW is accepting grant applications from local nonprofit organizations until April 3. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) and focus on health, education or financial stability in north-central communities. Minot Daily News

- ➤ Minot State University’s Native American Cultural Center received updated furniture in January from the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Council and Chairman Jamie Azure after he spoke with members during Indigenous People’s Day, with donated items including a couch + loveseat chosen with Stu’s Furniture in Belcourt. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ North Dakota’s eight commercial service airports recorded 103,350 boardings in January, a 2% drop from record-setting January 2025, yet the month remains the second busiest statewide. Airlines provided 137,321 departure seats & Minot International saw 12,970 boardings, down about 6% as winter service levels grew modestly. Minot Daily News

- ➤ High school senior girls in Minot can apply for a $1,000 scholarship from the National Women Involved in Farm Economics by submitting their details, two photos, letters of recommendation, and an essay on agriculture. Selections are made by state committees and finalized by a national chairman—applications are due by April 10. Minot Daily News
