- ➤ On Feb. 25, Minot Fire Department rescued two dogs + two cats from a mobile home fire on the 3500 block of 11th Avenue Southeast after arriving shortly before 5 p.m. and finding heavy smoke with no residents present; the cause remains under investigation. Minot Daily News

- ➤ Minot native Ralph 'Clumsy' Llewellyn will become VP of the World Clown Association (Friday, Mar. 6 in Boston) and began clowning here over 40 years ago, crediting mentor Ken 'Dizzy the Clown' Gillespie for inspiring his career. Minot Daily News

- ➤ Bryleigh McBride, a sophomore with Spare Parts 32434 Team, was named an FTC Dean's List Finalist after competing in a state robotics event.
