The Brass Band of Minot will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a pops concert titled 'Let the Show Begin' Sunday, Feb.
15 at 4 p.m. at Ann Nicole Nelson Hall at Minot State University. The concert includes Broadway tunes, Neil Diamond hits and a guest performance by the NU Notes group.
🏈 Sports
Deuce Benjamin scored 26 points and hit a jumper with three seconds left at the MSU Dome to help Minot State defeat Minnesota Duluth 85-83 on Saturday, Feb.
7. The win snapped an eight-game losing streak and sets up a Thursday game against Minnesota Crookston.
On Feb. 6 at Odde Ice Center, Lucca Ori scored a last-second goal to give the Tauros a 2-1 win over the Wings, though the Wings bounced back with a 6-3 victory on Feb.
7. The team will face the Mallards on Friday, Feb. 13 at Rough Rider Center.
Christian Deadmond signed a national letter of intent with Minot State after overcoming injuries at Minot North.
The running back battled a fractured tibia plateau (and a torn meniscus) before earning playing time; he now plans to play linebacker and major in Biology with plans to attend vet school.
