- ➤ State Parks and Recreation announced major additions to two state parks — including new campgrounds — promising a blockbuster summer season of expanded amenities. The improvements, scheduled for later this year, offer visitors more recreational opportunities. KFYR-TV

- ➤ The Taube Museum of Art is accepting K-12 student art entries (all mediums except 3-D) with submissions due by April 1, and artworks will be displayed through April in Magic City. KFYR-TV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Local landowners will have three options for electronically posting their land this year under ND Outdoors guidelines. The new choices offer more flexibility plus faster property updates. KFYR-TV
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ At the Magi Bowl at the Municipal Auditorium on Friday, Feb. 6, Minot United earned a second-place finish in floor exercise with scores of 9.550 & 9.500. The team now has its sixth runner-up finish this season after trailing Dickinson. Minot Daily News
- ➤ Bismarck native Britta Curl-Salemme earned her first Olympic assist on Saturday in Team USA’s 5-0 win over Finland in women’s hockey. She had one shot in the second period while the U.S. team outscored opponents 10-1 over two games and will face Switzerland Monday at 1:40 p.m. KFYR-TV
- ➤ On Friday, Feb. 6, the Minot State Beavers broke 15 records at the Bison Open Meet in Fargo, posting career bests including Justin Williams' 200 Meter run. They competed on Saturday and will advance to the NSIC Indoor Championships later this month. Minot Daily News
