- ➤ AARP ND is inviting eligible nonprofits and government entities to apply for Community Challenge grants to improve public spaces + transportation, housing, and digital access for older adults. Applications close on March 4 at 4 p.m. and projects must be completed by Dec. 15. Minot Daily News

- ➤ Lexi Lou’s is taking over The Market on 4th with a grand opening today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.—the new space will offer fresh floral designs and products from 21 local makers. KFYR-TV

- ➤ The Minot Symphony Orchestra will host Music & Midwest Murder LIVE on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. at Ann Nicole Nelson Hall on the MSU campus, featuring a live podcast recording with a Q&A session where the audience may help name the episode. Minot Daily News

- ➤ Ward County commissioners tabled a fireworks show request from Hot Tots Baseball submitted on Jan. 6 that detailed five weekend shows from May — August, delaying action until they consult the county’s insurer; meanwhile, they directed staff to plan with Roger Reich to repurpose the Morgan building for nutrition services. - ➤ Former NBA player and Senate candidate Royce White is set to speak to delegates at the NDGOP opening-night social event on Friday, Mar. 27 in Minot; the two-day convention will be held at the State Fairgrounds on Mar. 28-29. Minot Daily News

- ➤ Our Redeemer’s sophomore Wyatt Weekley earned second-team all-state honors and was named SERVPRO Athlete of the Week as he led the 6-1 team to a No. 2 ranking in Class B boys basketball — the team’s only loss was to Central McLean. KFYR-TV
